CLIENT

Dr. Kollias has been awarded since 1989 the title of Otorhinolaryngologist. He has been trained to the Hospitals of “Metaxa Piraeus”, Paidon P. & Aglaias Kyriakou and the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas” with 2 six-month internships in Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. He served in the National Health Services at P.G.N “Asklipieio Voulas” for 18 years and nowadays he practices medicine in the private sector.

During his career within hospitals, he operated as a surgeon within the whole range of Otorhinolaryngology, carrying out a large number of operations, while he was training specialized colleagues simultaneously.

He is a member of “Εuropean Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery” since 1991 and founding member of the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS). He has published 40 scientific dissertations and has participated as an instructor in international and Greek courses.

CHALLENGE

The client maintained an old website with major technical and graphic design issues, which could not correspond to the demands of a modern dynamic medical website. Our initial care was to turn his website to a competitive and attractive one, from the beginning of the user’s browsing.

We chose between many templates the most appropriate one in order to create a state-of-the-art open source platform with high levels of aesthetics, unique graphic designs, Google-search-engine-friendliness usability etc.

Text edit & proper content form

The Copywriting Department edited the medical texts of all the diseases and its confrontation methods so that the users can interact with the website properly, can understand by first sight the meaning behind texts (without having to read it all) and be able to have their interest triggered with the use of on-point-keywords, as well ass, subtitles that can easily transfer the users from one special subject to another.

The choice of graphic designs had to serve the optical stimuli, without disorienting the users from the main information and the rich photo gallery, in which anyone can witness “Before”/ “After” cases from the operations. We combined the proper colors so that they can be eye-catching and ooze with seriousness at the same time.

Menu – Categories

The main categories and subcategories were totally reformed, in order to ease the search process of disease and therapy for every single user. Therefore, the users’ browsing experience is immediately improved.

RESULTS

The objective of developing of a perfect medical website met with success. We chose the right template and improved with custom functionalities in order to help the users during website browsing and searching.

Homepage

On the Homepage, the user has already the ability to see a wide range of targeted visual material, as well as, “Before”/”After” cases from operations.

On the Footer (bottom of the page), the user can find a contact form in order to contact with the doctor directly.

Design

We integrated completely a minimal visual that improves the user’s browsing experience and we implemented all the techniques so that the website is exquisitely displayed in all digital devices (responsive design).

Extra important functionalities

  • Important decrease to the website’s loading-time.
  • Visible menu during browsing experience.
  • Design of a special online form that appears not only on the contact page, but also on all categories/subcategories.
  • Development of a 100% SEO friendly platform, ranking amongst the first places of Google’s organic results.
