Since 2012, petshop88.gr has evolved from an extension of a physical store to one of the leading online pet shops, surpassing intense competition and adapting to new consumer habits, especially after the pandemic. With a strategy based on technically sound construction, comprehensive SEO, and targeted content, the e-shop achieved impressive growth in organic traffic, orders, and revenue.
Specifically, we carried out a complete SEO optimization, covering all levels: on-site, off-site, and technical. At the on-site SEO level, we analyzed the structure and content of the e-shop, optimized category and product pages, refreshed metadata, and properly organized internal linking. At the same time, through technical SEO, we enhanced loading speed, optimized the user experience for mobile environments, and addressed critical errors in Google Search Console.
In off-site SEO, we focused on acquiring high-quality backlinks through collaborations with specialized blogs and directories in the pet industry. Simultaneously, a strategic plan for blog content creation was designed targeting high purchase-intent keywords.
